What is a VPS?
A Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a virtual machine running on dedicated hardware. Think of it as your own computer in the cloud, always on and always connected.
You can use a VPS to:
- Host websites or web apps
- Run game servers
- Set up dev environments
- Deploy APIs or backend services
- Run bots and scripts
Unlike shared hosting, you get root access and dedicated CPU, RAM, and storage. Other users on the same hardware don't affect your performance.
What You Get
Every QDE VPS comes with:
- A public IP address
- SSH access (username + password, or SSH key)
- Full root access
- A control panel for reboots, OS installs, and monitoring
QDE provides the server. You manage what runs on it.
